Ajanta - Ellora - SPorts Authority of India Campus - Devgiri Fort - Factory visits

GDS conducted an educational tour to Aurangabad for students of 5th to 8th grade.

The students visited the renowned UNESCO World Heritage sites at Ajanta and Ellora and experienced the history through stories and guided tour of the monuments. Students also visited the impregnable Devgiri fort and climbed all the way to the palace at the top of the hill passing the various strategic defensive structures like serpentine passages, false doorways, and 'Andheri' (blindingly dark tunneled passage).

Students got an opportunity of a guided tour of the prestigious Sports Authority of India (SAI) campus which trains our state, national and international sports champions. The tour was guided by two of our own ex-students who are now part of SAI. Later students visited the production plant where they had an opportunity to see various machines and processes for production of automobile metal parts as well as robotic machinery and compare first hand - the man vs machine efficiency. Students also got a unique opportunity to observe a water purification plant which uses natural biological process for production of drinking water from contaminated water source.
